Guwahati: The 68th Bordoloi Trophy championship will kick-off tomorrow at the Judges' Field in the city and at Kohora. Altogether 16 teams are participating in the meet and the matches at group stage will be held at four different venues. The other two places are Chirang and Ghilakuri (Sipajhar). Later Guwahati will host both the semi finals and final.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Bimal Borah will attend the inaugural function as the chief Guest and will also inaugurate the tournament. Former national level footballer Santosh Goswami will be the guest of honour. The inaugural function will be followed by the opening match between Gauhati Town Club and ITBP in Guwahati. Daimali Club of Udalguri will play against Assam Rifles, Shillong in the first game at Korora.
