Lalit Yadav (177, 4X17, 6X10) and Yash Dhull (113, 4X18) were the two Delhi batsmen who scored century in the first innings. M Mohammed picked up 4- 75. Tamil Nadu lost Suryaprakash (23) and B Aparajith (0) in the first innings. Opener Kaushik remained not out on 37 and Sai Kishore (11) was giving him accompany.

Meanwhile at the Nehru Stadium Chhattisgarh needed just 67 runs to win the Ranji tie against Jharkhand on day III tomorrow. In reply to Jharkhand's first innings total 189 Chhattisgarh scored 174 and earned slender lead. However their bowlers once again made good work in the second innings and restricted Jharkhand 133. Sumit Ruikar (4-29), Ajay Mandal (3-21) and Ravi Kiran (3-35) shared ten wickets among them. Chhattisgarh were 67-2 in their second innings at stumps.
