LAKHIMPUR: Recruit Training Center (RTC) of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), located at Kimin, organised 10 km road run and walk on Friday under the banner of Fit India Freedom Run.
Notably, on behalf of the dream project, Fit India Movement, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and as per directives of the Ministry of Home Affair and Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, RTC had been organizing the Fit India Freedom Run since Agust 15 to October 2. In connection with this initiative, the 10th Battalion of ITBP organized the 10KM run and walk on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on Friday. DIG Manmohan Guleria, commandant Dinesh Kumar, other officers, all ranks and trainees participated in the programme.
