GUWAHATI: Guwahati City FC (GCFC) emerged champion in the Sunfeast Cup 2022 (State level) and qualified for the zonal round. In the final, held at the AEC ground today, GCFC defeated Radhakrishna Academy 3-0. Abhinash Boro, Sarfraz Mazid and Chandan Thakur scored one goal each in the game.
While Monjyoti Tamuli of the GCFC received the top scorer award of the meet Manoj Barman of the same team collected the best goalkeeper award. The zonal round of the tournament will start from November 10.
