MANGALDAI: Dikshita Hazarika, a student of Saint Anthony College, Shillong, has secured the gold medal in fighting and bronze medal in kata category in the 29th Inter School and 11th Inter College Karate Tournament in Shillong on Saturday. The tournament was organized by All Meghalaya Karate Do Association, Shillong with the active support of the Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Government of Meghalaya. Dikshita is the youngest daughter of Chitralekha Hazarika and businessman Ratul Hazarika of Ward No. 8, Shankar Nagar of Mangaldai.
