GUWAHATI: Guwahati Sports Association organized a bicycle rally on the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse here today. The rally was flagged off at the RG Baruah Sports Complex by the president of the Guwahati Sports Association Pulak Goswami and it went via GS Road, VIP Road, Noonmati, Chandmari, Guwahati club before ended at the RG Baruah Complex. The event was also attended by Director General of Police Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Zonal Director of Narcotics Control Bureau Rakesh Chandra Shukla, General Secretary of Assam Olympic Association Lakhya Konwar and Deputy Director, Health Services cum Nodal Officer for State Tobacco Control Program Dr Arundhati Deka.
