GUWAHATI: Jorhat won against NFRSA by virtue of the first innings lead in the JK Barooah Cricket at Golaghat today. The result helped Jorhat to collect three points from the match. Imtiaz Hussain Borbhuyan (5-47) of Jorhat bowled well in the second innings while Jacky Ali (50) of NFRSA was the top scorer.
In the other game at Furkating Dhemaji took 22 runs first innings lead over Dhemaji on day I. In reply to Dhemaji's first innings total 183 Nagaon bowled out 161 in their first innings. Washim Ullah Khan of Nagaon displayed all round performance in the game. He first took 4-50 and later played a well composed 60 runs knock from 43 balls. Rajesh Prasad ( 5-54) of Dhemaji played a crucial role to give his side first innings lead with ball.
