GUWAHATI, Sept 17: Kamrup District Weightlifting Championship was held at Ganesh Para Playground in the city on Saturday. 125 weightlifters participated in 10 men and the same number of women categories. In the men’s section Kabya Boro of Dispur Weightlifting Academy adjudged the best weightlifter title. In the women’s section Songita Sadhanidar of PFC collected the best weightlifter award.
