GUWAHATI: Mangaldai and Guwahati took full control over their opponents in the JK Baruah Cricket in two different venues on Monday. At the Nehru Stadium Mangaldai dominated over Lakhimpur on day I. Invited to bat, Mangaldai bowled out 213 thanks to a nice spell from Rebat Gohain (7-76). However Mangaldai came out strongly in the game and restricted Lakhimpur 84-6 in their 1st innings at stumps

Meanwhile Guwahati displayed a good all round performance in the match against Udalguri which started at Furkating today. Subroto Das picked up 5-15 to restrict Udalguri to only 60 in their first innings. He got good support from Rajib Das (3-11). Later Guwahati were bowled out 213 in their first innings.
