GUWAHATI: City-based mountaineer Chetna Joshi, who successfully climbed Mount Elbrus in Russia recently, sets new target and this time she aims to summit Mt Everest in 2021.
Talking to the media persons in the city Chetna Joshi, who has earlier undergone rigorous training in the reputed institutions of the country like NIMAS and others, said, “I want to summit all the important peaks along with Everest. However before leaving for Everest expedition I have to train myself for it and I will now spend more time on it.”
Sharing her experience on Mt Elbrus summit in Russia Chetna told: “I summited under extremely challenging condition amidst chilled wind. The temperature was below 25 degree. The condition was so worst that our summit was delayed by two days due to snow storm and wind of high intensity.”
