Talking to the media persons the president and the secretary of the association Hem Das and Durga Boro said, "Current footballers in the city are suffering for lack of practice grounds. Whether it is Maligaon, Sarusajai, Nehru Stadium… or any other places, footballers are not allowed to do their daily practice. If it is continued the game would be badly suffered. It is because of that we have appealed to the government to reserve the Nehru Stadium for football only."
