GUWAHATI: Sprinter Amlan Borgohain continued his good form and collected gold medal setting a new meet record in 200m Race in the 62nd National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship. The competition was held in Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar on Monday where Amlan clocked 20.71 secs to bag the top spot. In this process he also broke the previous meet record which was on the name of Anil Kumar (20.80). However the sprinter fell short of the Asian Games qualification time of 20.61 secs.
