Bengaluru: Veteran Assamese bodybuilder Atul Gogoi Passes Away

GUWAHATI: In a big loss to the bodybuilding fraternity of the state, Atul Gogoi, a renowned bodybuilder hailing from Assam, breathed his last in Bengaluru on Thursday evening.

The veteran bodybuilder was 75 years old at the time of his death and left behind his wife and a daughter.

Gogoi happened to be a former Mr. Gauhati University and was a prominent figure in this field during the 1970s and 80s and played a crucial role in the expansion of this game in the State.
