GUWAHATI: Assam registered narrow two runs victory against Maharashtra in the U-19 Women Cricket One Day tie held at Jorhat today. Invited to bat Assam bowled out 95 in 36.4 overs.
Opener Gayatri Gurung, scored 29, was the highest scorer. Bedashree Borpatragohain (21) was the other major contributor. In reply Maharashtra managed to score 93-9 in their 50 overs. K Mulla and H Deshmukh scored 17 runs each while Rashmi Dey picked up 3-15.
