GUWAHATI: Guwahati Sports Association’s (GSA) B and C Division Football Leagues 2023-24 got under way at the Nehru Stadium today. President of GSA Paresh Ch. Das inaugurated both the leagues in a brief function. In the B Division League Young Amateur Club defeated Udayan Kristi Sangha 4-0. Biplab Rabha (31'), Ganapati Rabha (45 +’) and Biniswar Rabha (46', 53') scored in the game. In C Division West Guwahati Club defeated Pragjyotishpur FC 3-1. While Amit Basumatary (45 + 1', 90 + 2') and Sachin Roy (73') were the scorers for West Guwahati Jaklong returned one for Pragjyotishpur.
Singrik Momin of the Young Amateur and Martin of West Guwahati Club received the player of the match award.
