LA PAZ: Former Shakhtar Donetsk, Werder Bremen, and Flamengo striker Marcelo Moreno was among 26 players named in Bolivia's squad on Thursday for friendlies against Chile and Ecuador.

Bolivia head coach Cesar Farias also called up midfielder Alejandro Chumacero and defender Luis Haquin, who play for Chilean clubs Spanish Union and Deportes Melipilla, respectively. La Paz-based Bolivar is the best-represented side with six players in the squad, followed by the Strongest and Always Ready with five each. Bolivia will face Chile in Santiago on March 26 and Ecuador in Guayaquil three days later. The fixtures were hastily scheduled after the fifth and sixth match days of South America's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers - which had been slated for late March - were canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
