GUWAHATI: Nagaon registered victory over Nalbari by virtue of the first innings lead in the J K Baruah Cricket held at the Amingaon Cricket ground here today. In reply to Nalbari's first innings total 148 Nagaon bowled out 205 in the first innings. Shamim Ahmed remained not out on 39 and Akash Kalita picked up 5-42. Nalbari were 47-2 in their second innings when the match came to an end.
At Nehru Stadium the fate of the match between Biswanath and Naharkotia decided through toss as the first innings of both the sides didn't complete due to rain Chasing Naharkotia's first innings total 109 Biswanath were 84-2 when the rain interrupted the game. Biswanath won the tie.
