LONDON: The Pakistan cricket team has arrived in Derby for the second leg of their training and practice camp ahead of the first Test against England. The match will be played at Old Trafford, Manchester, from August 5.

The players arrived at Derby from Worcester where they self-isolated for 14 days following their arrival in the United Kingdom. According to a report in Cricket Pakistan, the players were not allowed to go downstairs to have lunch or dinner as they were not allowed to dine with their teammates. Food was provided on their respective floors where they were staying. The hotels where the players have put up in Derby are three-star complexes attached to the ground they are training in. The report further states that the players are spending their off-time playing FIFA. Table tennis, snooker, darts and carom are also available for the team.

The first Test between England and Pakistan will be played in Manchester starting August 5 while the final two Tests are scheduled to be played at Southampton from August 13 and August 21, respectively. The three T20Is, meanwhile, will be played at a single venue in Manchester on August 28, August 30 and September 1. (IANS)
