GUWAHATI: Rode on a century from Rahul Hazarika City Cricket club defeated Ankurjyoti Club by a huge margin of 103 runs in the Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship at Judges Field here today. Invited to bat, City Cricket club piled up huge 284-2 in their 35 overs. Rahul hit 12 boundaries and four sixes on way to score 131 from 108 balls. Ankurjyoti were restricted to 161-7 in 35 overs. AkashBasfor (63) was the top scorer for the side.
In another game at Diphu, Raju Ghosh (139, 4-20) displayed an all-round performance for Diphu Warriors.
