Ridding On Messi Performance, PSG Beats RB Leipzig

Paris: Riding on Lionel Messi performance, the Paris Saint Germain (PSG) registered a 3-2 win against RB Leipzig in the third game of this year's Champions' League group stage.

The match which was played on Tuesday, Messi struck two goals in the seventh-minute to hand his team all three points.

As the match started, PSG got a lead in the nine minutes with the help of Kylian Mbappe, however, the opponent -- RB Leipzig – fought back and managed to grab equalizer in the 28th minute of the game. In the 12th minute of the second –half Nordi Mukiele struck to turn the atmosphere at the Parc des Princes on its head. Again Messi scored after 10 minutes which proved to be final nail in the coffin.

Though, with the help of Messi, PSG won the game but the team failed to perform in the game, while on the other hand, the players of the RB Leipzig showed some football but die to some mistake they couldn't score some goals which could have helped them in turning the match.

With this match results, PSG remain on top of Group A with seven points which they secured from the opening three games. On the other hand, Manchester city is on second position with six points after they won against Club Brugge earlier in the day.

Messi might have got his hat-trick when another penalty was awarded against a foul on Achraf Hakimi after a VAR review in the stoppage time. However, this time Mbappe stepped up struck.

PSG will again face RB Leipzig on November 3 in Germany.
