Nicolas Jarry of Chile stunned 3rd seed Alexander Zverev of Germany 7-6(3), 6-3 on Friday to reach the final of Geneva Open where he will face 4th seed Grigor Dimitrov.

GENEVA: Nicolas Jarry of Chile stunned 3rd seed Alexander Zverev of Germany 7-6(3), 6-3 on Friday to reach the final of Geneva Open where he will face 4th seed Grigor Dimitrov. The 27-year-old Chilean took the first set in tie-break 7-3 after holding his all service games. In the second set he broke Zverev’s second service game to take early lead.

Earlier, Jarry beat top seed Casper Ruud 3-6, 7-6 (2), 7-5 in the quarterfinal yesterday.
