GUWAHATI: Top Seed Arpan Das of West Bengal took sole lead with 6 points after the conclusion of sixth round in the 4th Ayodhana International Fide Rating Chess Tournament at Assam Down Town University Auditorium here today. Arpan beat second seed Ashutosh Kumar of Bihar in the sixth round match. Ashutosh Kumar of Bihar, Rupam Mukherjee of West Bengal, Tanisha A R Som, Padma Gogoi, Nilabhjyoti Barthakur, Charvy Choudhury, Abinash P Gogoi, and Ashvin Sharma (All from Assam) are in second position by scoring 5 points each from same number of rounds.
