296 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Assam, recovery rate 98.42%

GUWAHATI: As many as 296 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in the State on Monday when 7 people died of the pandemic. While the positivity rate in the State during the day was 0.70%, the recovery rate was 98.42%.
