GUWAHATI: Thirty-seven people died of the COVID-19 in the State on Tuesday when the positivity rate was 1.88 per cent. As many as 2,869 new cases were also detected in the State during the day. 227 new cases were detected in Golaghat. It was followed by Kamrup (M) with 198 cases, Dibrugarh with 193 cases and Cachar with 172 cases.
