Assam Finance Minister Ajanta Neog to present annual state budget on March 16

GUWAHATI: State Finance Minister Ajanta Neog will present the annual State budget for 2023-24 on March 16, 2023. The budget session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will begin from March 10, 2023. The budget session will formally start with the Governor's address. Sources said that the duration of the budget session and the conduct of business of the House will be decided by the business advisory committee of the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA).
