Assam Government created 150 posts for sub-treasuries

The State Government has created 150 posts for the 25 newly created sub-treasuries in the State.

GUWAHATI: The State Government has created 150 posts for the 25 newly created sub-treasuries in the State. The State Finance department has issued a notification to this effect. It has also intimated the development to the Accountant General of Assam. Each of the 25 sub-treasuries will have six posts – a treasury officer, an accountant, a senior accounts assistant, a junior accounts assistant, a fourth grade employee and a cleaner. The places where the 25 new sub-treasuries will be located are – Raha, Sorbhog, Teok, Sualkuchi, Dhekiajuli, Barjalenga, Sonapur, Sipajhar, Sonai, Dudhnoi, Chabua, Amguri, Silapathar, Mushalpur, Naoboicha, Bhurbanda, Kamalapur, Majbat, Doomdoma, Golokganj, Patacharkuchi, Moran, Jamuguri, Kajalgaon and Manikpur. While some of the sub-treasuries are operational, the rest will be made operational soon.
