DUDHNOI: Bablu Rabha of Dudhnoi Damra was martyred in Naxal clashes in Chhattisgarh. A pall of gloom descended in Goalpara district, especially at Dudhnoi Damra. The body of the martyr has been already brought to Assam.

Bablu Rabha joined the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) in 2009. He was also in the COBRA Battalion of CRPF in Meghalaya for one-and-a-half years.

He came home in November last year, and was supposed to come during this Bihu. However, the destiny had something different in store for him.

Bablu leaves behind a seven-year-old daughter, his wife, a brother and the mother.

Meanwhile, Goalpara Police and the CRPF have completed all arrangements at Damra Crematorium for the funeral of Bablu's mortal remains.
