Assam’s Chief Electoral Officer issues show-cause notice to Congress

Guwahati: Assam’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) today issued a show-cause notice to the INC president on an allegation by the BJP that the party has violated the Model Code of Conduct by enticing voters with ‘Guarantee cards’ that do not mention the source of funds.
