DHUBRI: Chapor Police of Dhubri district seized four cattle and two bikes from Moyatari and Khiridagosai villages on Friday night.
Sources said that cattle smugglers have adopted new modus operandi and bring four to five cattle to the villages close to Brahmaputra river and when the number grows, they sell them to another smuggler who smuggle out the cattle by river routes to Bangladesh border.
Presently the cattle were brought to Dhubri district through the village routes of Kokrajhar district, sources informed.
