 NEW DELHI: Exit polls for Madhya Pradesh remain divided as to the outcome of the Assembly polls in the state. Several exit polls on Thursday predicted that the BJP in Madhya Pradesh will likely retain the state with a comfortable majority. Others say the Congress has an edge, even as some predicted a neck-to-neck contest between the BJP and Congress.

The Madhya Pradesh assembly has 230 seats with majority mark of 116 seats. The 2023 Madhya Pradesh elections were held in a single phase on November 17. The votes will be counted on December 3 along with Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram.

Jan Ki Baat predicts a neck-to-neck fight between BJP and Congress, with its prediction that BJP would win 100-123 seats and Congress will get 102-125 seats.

TV9 predicts close contest with slight edge to Congress. TV9 predicts that BJP will take 106-116 seats, while Congress will take 111-121, and others: 0-6.

On the other hand, India Today predicts clean sweep by BJP. With India Today's forecast reading: BJP: 140-162, Cong: 68-90, and others: 0-3.

Times Now-ETG has predicted that the BJP may win 105-117 seats while the Congress may secure 109-125 seats
