Five-year-old Prakriti Bora from Bokajan makes it to 'India Book of Records'

At the tender age of 5, when most children struggle to memorize nursery rhymes, alphabets and numbers, Prakriti Bora is breaking records by playing the national song "Vande Mataram" on the piano blindfolded in record 0.57 seconds.

BOKAJAN: At the tender age of 5, when most children struggle to memorize nursery rhymes, alphabets and numbers, Prakriti Bora is breaking records by playing the national song "Vande Mataram" on the piano blindfolded in record 0.57 seconds.

Officials of the 'India Book of Records' honoured Prakriti with a medal and a certificate to recognize her achievement. Born on December 17, 2015; Prakriti Bora, daughter of Bijon Bora and Rinku Bharali Bora, is a UKG student of Vidya Sagar High School in Bokajan.

Prakriti's mother acted as a source of inspiration and motivation for her. Delighted over Prakriti's achievement, her mother said, "We cannot be more proud of our daughter. She was just four years and 11 months old when she entered the 'India Book of Records'. Not only the national song, she can also play the national anthem "Jana Gana Mana" and other nursery rhymes blindfolded on the piano as well."

Apart from piano, Prakriti is also keen towards Bihu dance and loves to study as well. Residents of Bokajan and her teachers have expressed happiness and wished her all success in life.
