GUWAHATI: The Health Department staged a mock drill in 1,264 government health institutes, including all medical colleges and district hospitals, and 177 private institutes today to ensure operational readiness for Covid-19 management with a focus on infrastructure, oxygen plants, ventilators, ICUs, beds, logistic support etc.
According to NHM, the state has all the required logistic support, consumables, beds, oxygen and other necessary items to deal with any emergency Covid-19 situation.
Following an instruction from the Union Ministry of Health Affairs, the state governments exercised mock drills today.
