Nikhilesh Dutta: The first rank holder in the science stream, Nikhilesh Dutta, who could not appear in the HS final exam last year due to health hazards and appeared in the examination in the current year, expressed his desire to be a physician in the future. He said, “What I achieved is because of the support and help of Dilip Bora, the proprietor-cum-principal of Ramanujan Senior Secondary School.”

Sankalpajit Saikia: Speaking to local media persons here, the first rank holder in the arts stream, Sankalpajit Saikia, who topped the merit list in arts, said, “I will take admission in Nowgong College (autonomous). I want civil services.”

Sukanya Kumar: Who stood first in HS Commerce, said, “I did expect good results. This is a happy moment. I thank my teachers for their help when needed. My hard work paid off.”

Varsha Bothra: Who topped the merit list in the commerce stream, said, “I started my preparations in XI. Initially, I spent less time reading. With time passing, I started to increase my reading hours. In Class XII, I read 12–13 hours.”

For younger students, she got across her message that preparations for any examinations should not be abrupt. “It should be a gradual and continuous process,” she said.
