JAGIROAD: The Jagiroad police, acting on a tip-off, seized 309 grams of banned heroin from the possession of three youths on Sunday. The value of the drugs seized is estimated to be about Rs 3 crore. The arrested youths were identified as Saddam Hussain, Saiful Islam and Jakir Hussain of Kochua PS in the Nagaon district. The police team was led by OC Mun Prashad Tiwary. The police also seized one motorcycle and three mobile phones.
