Japanese Encephalitis death toll 30 in Assam, new cases 13

GUWAHATI: The death toll in Assam due to Japanese Encephalitis (JE) rose to 30 with three deaths reported today. A total of 13 new cases were reported from various parts of the State today. The total number of JE cases reported in Assam so far is 183. The three deaths – one each- were reported from the Kamrup (metro), Kamrup and Lakhimpur districts.
