GUWAHATI: The CJM (Chief Judicial Magistrate) Court here on Thursday sent Kakoli Buzarbaruah, counsellor of Global Edu Light, to judicial custody.
She had completed five-day police remand. Kakoli is an accused in the JEE exam (Mains) scam in the city. Earlier, Police carried out face-to-face grilling of Bhargav Deka -- owner of the Ambari-based consultancy firm -- and Kakoli at the Azara Police Station. Though both revealed many things before the interrogating officers, yet Police is tight-lipped over the issue.
