Mission Basundhara: Application submission date extended till December 7

The state government has extended the last date for the submission of applications under ‘Mission Basundhara’ by seven more days

GUWAHATI: The state government has extended the last date for the submission of applications under 'Mission Basundhara' by seven more days, i.e, till December 7. Earlier, the last date for submission of applications under 'Mission Basundhara' was November 30, 2021.

In this regard, the Director of Land Records & Surveys etc, Assam, Gyanendra Dev Tripathi has written letters to the DCs (Deputy Commissioners) and SDOs (C) — Sub Divisional Officers (Circle).

According to the new direction, "The extended time of seven days shall be utilised to mainstream the offline applications received till November 30 in the Circle offices."

However, no offline applications will be accepted in the Circle offices after November 30.

The letter added, "All out efforts should be made to receive the physically-submitted applications till November 30.

"Citizens can also apply online till the midnight of December 7 via the portal — basundhara.assam.govt.in

This move has been carried out to encourage the citizens to avail of the online-application facility to the maximum possible extent with the help of the CSCs (Common Services Centres) and PFCs (Public Facilitation Centres).

Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Jogen Mohan said in social media on Monday, "In view of the widespread response of the people, the last date of 'Mission Basundhara' has been extended by seven more days i.e., till December 7 under the direction of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma."
