No COVID-19 case reported in the past four days in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh did not report any fresh COVID-19 case in the past four days, said State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa.

One more person recuperated from the disease on Monday taking the total number of recoveries in the State to 16,784. The State currently two active cases, while 56 people died due to the contagion so far. The recovery rate and positivity rate in the state currently stand at 99.65 per cent and 0.012 per cent, respectively. West Kameng and Papumpare districts now have one active case each. Altogether, 4,11,947 samples have been tested so far, including 126 on Monday, added Dr Jampa.

Meanwhile, a total of 66,291 persons have been inoculated in the State so far, since the vaccination drive began in January this year, including 3,507 on Monday, informed State Immunization Officer (SIO) Dr Dimong Padung.
