GUWAHATI: President of India Ram Nath Kovind will arrive in the State on May 4. Talking to The Sentinel, Assam Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary said, "The Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS) conference will be in Tamulpur this year. The BSS invited the President of India for its conference. We know that the President will come to the State on May 4 for the literary conference. Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukh, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and many other dignitaries will attend the BSS conference. It will be the first BSS conference with the participation of the President of India."
The Speaker further said, "The President may attend other programmes during his visit. It will be clear only after getting his final tour schedule."
