GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has stated that the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party)-led government has been successful in bringing its promises to reality.
"Our achievements have covered every district and area of the State. Despite being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has successfully kept its promises. The works done by the BJP and the Congress have vast differences," said Sonowal while addressing an executive meeting of the State BJP Mahila Morcha held at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra here on Wednesday.
He exhorted the women cadres to play an important role for bringing the BJP back to power in Dispur. He also urged them to promote the achievements of the Central and State governments among the people.
Among those present on the occasion were Mahila Morcha national president Vanathi Srinivasan and State BJP Mahila Morcha president Aparajita Bhuyan.
