SEBA adds ineligibility norm for 2023 HSLC exam

GUWAHATI: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has announced that students of affiliated schools who have not appeared in half-yearly examinations of Class-X held in October last, and even those who appeared but whose marks will not be entered in the Marks Entry Portal (MEP) opened by SEBA, will be ineligible to appear in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations, 2023.

In a notification issued on Tuesday, SEBA informed all schools under it that the Marks Entry Portal of the SEBA will remain open from November 1 to December 2 next for this purpose, and that the schools concerned will have to upload the marks secured in the half-year examination by aspiring HSLC examination candidates within this timeframe.

The notification also mentioned that the probable date of commencement of filling up forms for the HSLC examinations, 2023 may be November 15.
