Students' wing of the Popular Front of India CFI leader Amir Hamza held in Bengaluru

Sources said that the police team has obtained three days’ transit remand of Hamza from the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru.

GUWAHATI: Absconding CFI (students' wing of the Popular Front of India) leader Amir Hamza (27), a resident of the Baksa district of the state, was apprehended by a team of the Assam Police from Bellundur in Bengaluru on Friday night. Sources said that the police team has obtained three days' transit remand of Hamza from the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru. Hamza went into hiding after banning of the PFI, along with some families of Tripura.
