"Lean On" by Major Lazer & DJ Snake

"Lean On was shot in Karjat and Vasai, both places in Maharashtra. The song opens with Danish Singer MO Singing in a palace estup. But here's the fun fact - it was not an actual palace but the same set used in the movie Jodha Akbar which was designed by Nitin Dasai

"Hymn for the Weekend" by Coldplay

By far the most well-known song for its use of Indian Elements, "Hymn for the Weekend" was shot in Parts of worli village, Mumbai and Kolkata. The fort shown at the beginning of the video and in between is Bassein Fort aka Saint Sebastian's Forst located in Vassai, Mumbai. It was also shot at the famous Maratha Mandir theatre.

"Magenta Riddim" by DJ Snake

The latest addition to the list, "Magenta Riddim" is a fun-looking video, shot in the famous Ramoji Rao Film City, Telangana. Inspired by Tollywood style, the music video has a South Indian touch to it and follows a squad of firefighters who can't stop dancing. Much of the talent and crew involved in the making of the video were local artists.

"Bounce" by Iggy Azalea

The aussie rapper, Iggy Azalea dropped her hip-hop track 'Bounce' in 2013 and it showcased from the pristine Taj Mahal to Elephants to enthusiastic guests dancing it off at an Indian wedding. The video was filmed in Mumbai, where we see Iggy singing and dancing in Sarees and once in a complete bridal attire

"The Cave" by Mumford & Sons

London-based rock band Mumford & Sons released their third single "The Cave" in 2010 and it was completely filmed in Goa. In the video, we see the members of the band riding two-wheeler in and around the place, a very touristy thing to do when in Goa

American DJ, Marshmello's love for Bollywood and Shah Rukh Khan becomes evident with his song "Biba". When the EDM composer was in India for VH1 Supersonic 2018, he shot the peppy song in a studio in Mumbai
