Early Life

Bhaskar Sharma was born on 20 January 1969. He is a native of Sagunbari Tinali, Margherita in the Tinsukia District of Assam. He is the son of Late Ranga Lal Sharma and Late Apsara Devi Sharma. Bhaskar Sharma- Sitting MLA from124 Margherita Constituency in Assam.

In 2016, Bhaskar Sharma was fielded by the BJP to contest from the Margherita Constituency. Bhaskar Sharma is the sitting MLA from No 124 Margherita constituency in the 14th Assam Assembly. Fought Assam Elections once – 2016. Defeated senior Congress leader and 3-time MLA Pradyut Bordoloi in 2016. Fighting Assam Elections for the second time

Education

Bhaskar Sharma is only 10th pass. He passed his matriculation from Margherita Public Higher Secondary School, Margherita in 1988.

Career & Political Life

In 2016, Bhaskar Sharma was fielded by the BJP to contest from the Margherita Constituency. Sharma contested and defeated prominent Congress leader and 3 times MLA Pradyut Bordoloi by a huge margin of 22,744 votes. Sharma is also an advisor of the Margherita Sports Association.
