Nurul Amin Chowdhury is the son of Late Uzir Mamud. He is a resident of Chota Rupahi village, Haibargaon in Nagaon district. He has 3 wives, Samim Ara Amin, a government employee, Selima Chowdhury, and Momtaz Begum, who are homemakers. He has 4 children from his 3 wives.

Education: He did his Class X (Matric) from Dawson M.P Higher Secondary School in the year 1981. He did his PU (Class XII) from Nowgong College, in 1984 and he completed his graduation in the year 1990-91.

Career & Politics:

Nurul Amin Chowdhury is a businessman and a social worker. He was the general secretary of AIUDF. He is contesting the upcoming Assam Assembly elections as an Independent from Rupohihat.
