Early Life:

Ranoj Pegu is a resident of Chauldhua Baligaon in Dhemaji district of Assam. His age is about 59 years. He is the son of Sishuram Pegu.

Education:

He has an MBBS degree from Gauhati Medical College in 1987.

Career and Politics:

Ranoj Pegu is the former chief executive member of the Missing Autonomous Council.

In 2019, he retained the Dhemaji Assembly seat for his party after BJP's Pradan Baruah, resigned from the Assembly to contest the Lok Sabha elections.

This is the second time he shall be contesting for Assam Election.
