Surabhi Rajkonwar Sibsagar: Early Life, Education, Career & Politics

Early Life:

Fought Assam Elections once in 2016 & fighting Assam Elections for the second time. She lost the Assam Assembly Elections 2016. Surabhi Rajkonwar is from Lalim Gaon, Sibsagar. Her father's name is Suresh Rajkonwar, an employee of ONGC. She got married in the year 1990 to Suran Rajkonwar.

Her Education:

Surabhi Rajkonwar is a Bachelor of Arts from KKH State Open University.

Career & Political Life:

In the 2016 Assam Assembly Elections, Surabhi Rajkonwar from BJP lost to Pranab Kumar Gogoi of Indian National Congress (INC) with a vote margin of 542. Pranab Kumar Gogoi secured 48584 number of votes while Surabhi got 48042 number of votes.

She is quite active on social media platforms to promote various developmental schemes and events. She participated in distributing reliefs to various self-help groups in order to make them stronger. She also participated in the distribution of handlooms and chickens under the initiative of the non-governmental volunteer association shelter. This year she is to contest from BJP under Sibsagar constituency in Assam Legislative assembly.
