Gakul Boruah is the son of Late Ramakanta Baruah. He is 51 years old, resident of Ward no. 7. Mangaldoi Town, in Darrang district. He is married to Rupali Bania.

Education:

He is Class XII (Higher Secondary) pass from Govt. Higher Secondary School, Mangaldoi in 1990.

Career and political Life:

He is a first-time a candidate contesting the upcoming Assembly Elections 2021 on an Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) ticket contesting from the Mangaldoi seat. He is a self-employed businessman.
