LongkiEnghi is the son of Late Kania Enghi. He is a resident of Umrongso. He is married to Robina Teronpi, and they have a child.

He completed his B.A degree from JB Hagjer College in 2011.

LongkiEnghi is contesting the Assam State election, 2021, from the Barkhola constituency as a Janata Dal(United) candidate.
