Early Life-

ParimalSuklabaidya was born in Irongmara of Cachar district. His father's name is Late ProfullaSuklabaidya, and his mother's name is Late ProtivaSuklabaidya. He married Uma Suklabaidya. They have one son and one daughter. His favourite pastime is reading books on religious matters.

Education-

He completed his Bachelors in Arts in the year 1980, from Guru Charan College, Silchar. He passed his PU (Higher Secondary) from the same college in 1977. He is a 1975 batch Matric pass from P.C. Barjalenga High School.

Career and Politics-

Initially, he started earning his livelihood through cultivation and business. He was also inclined to social services. Later, he became a politician of the Indian political party. He is a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly representing the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is Assam Minister for Environment and Forest, Fisheries and Excise. He has contested the Dholai seat four times. He is contesting from Dholai for the fifth time on a BJP ticket.
